Conditions of Sale
- Returns will only be accepted with original receipt.
- Returns will be only accepted within 14 days from date of delivery or collection.
- Goods returned will be subject to a handling charge of 15%.
- Goods accepted for return must be in full unopened boxes, the onus is on the Customer to return goods to the store, otherwise a collection fee will be charged.
- The Customer and/ or his/ her Agents will have full Responsibility for ensuring that they are satisfied with the materials before fixing. The Company will not accept ANY claims for materials once they are fixed.
- The Company will not accept any tiles for return if that of a different shade to their current stock.
- Customers must order the correct quantity for their requirements. The Company cannot guarantee being able to match shades from previous orders.
- The Company will provide assistance in determining a customer’s requirement from drawings and measurements supplied. The final responsibility for ordering the correct quantities will be with the Customer or his/ her Agents.
- Ceramic tiles are sold subject to variations in shade and patterns. Tiles should be examined for shade variations or defects before fixing. It is recommended that tiles from different cartons be mixed to get an acceptance shade blend.
- No guarantee will be given against crazing (crazing is an inherent quality in glazed tiles). It can sometimes enhance the tiles and is not a fault. Tiles purposely crazed are more expensive.
- Samples on display are for general guidance as colour glaze and application can vary considerably over time and may not be exactly identical to current stock.
- All goods remain property of Classic Tiles Ltd until the Company has received payment for the same.
- Credit accounts will be strictly operated with Terms agreed between Classic Tiles and the Customer.
- Orders are accepted and deliveries arranged pending the Company being able to secure the Goods without the same accepting responsibility for manufacturing delays, strikes, accidents or any other reason out of the Company’s Control.
- Goods delivered will be a drop to one accessible point agreed between the Customer and Classic Tiles. The Customer will then be responsible for the checking and security of goods from delivery point.
- All deliveries are subject to a Delivery Charge.
Right of Withdrawal
Under EU Directive 2023/2673 and the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), consumers within the European Union have the statutory right to withdraw from distance contracts within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods, or in the case of a service contract, from the day of the conclusion of the contract.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you may use our dedicated online cancellation function. You can access the form and withdraw from contract here. Upon submission of the form, you will receive an automated acknowledgement of receipt via email without undue delay.
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
Please note that the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to the following types of contracts:
- The supply of goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised (e.g., custom-cut materials or engraved items).
- The supply of goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inextricably mixed with other items (e.g., tiles that have been installed).
- Contracts concluded by businesses or for professional purposes (B2B transactions).
If you have requested that a service begins during the 14-day withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.
